Alyssa's first day and randoms....
Well it has been a busy few weeks. And Alyssa has started preschool. She is loving it! I am hoping to be able to get some things accomplished while she is there so we can have more "play" time. Here are pictures from her first day and a bunch of other randoms from August and the start of September.

Kindergarten...
I am feeling so bittersweet about this new chapter in my life. I swear it was just yesterday we found out we were pregnant with her and now she is starting school. How did that 5 years go so fast?!?!?! I love the little girl she is becoming and take great pride in the sweet, polite, honest little girl we have raised. And thank God and Russ for the honor of getting to stay at home with them. I can't imagine having to miss out on all of the time we have had together this far. I am so very blessed with both of my sweet girls!!!!
I have been thinking alot about how her first day might go. Hailey will be fine, in fact I am sure she will have the best day ever! Mama on the other hand feels like she is losing a huge part of her heart. This will be the first time ever we have left her with anyone other than family for longer than 2 1/2 hours. If she spoke up for herself better I don't think I would be so worried. But she will just sit there and not say a word no matter what she might need. I am sure once she gets to know her teacher she will feel good about sharing her needs, but the first week or two, how much will she go without?!?! And then you add the hour long bus ride in the morning and in the afternoon...... That makes for one looooooooooong day for a little girl. Thank God our neighbor loves her and is going to keep an eye on her for us.
